FWIW, the last three picks in the supplementary draft were the Hart Dynasty to Raw, some random Diva to SD, and MVP to SD.

I hope that means they won't be having the title long.

I would think that Cody would still have a future. But they totally botched this Legacy breakup, and now it makes Rhodes and DiBiase look totally lost.

If anything, they should keep them together, and have them recruit someone else (Hart Dynasty? Miz as more of a young guy than a legacy?)

I think (hope) that Miz is being groomed for bigger things. If history has taught us anything, it's that you can be an average worker in the ring (which Miz is) and gold on the mic and go on to tremendous things. Miz can definitely be a world champion within the next two years.

The Miz is absolutely buried on Raw.

How's he supposed to get a legitimate title push with Edge, Jericho, Cena, Batista (for another few weeks anyway), Orton, Sheamus and DiBiase around?

The thing with Miz, especially since he's no longer a tag champ, is that he has a singles title he can legitimize.

The obvious route they can go at any time is a Miz/Morrison rivalry. He also could take on a couple of the aforementioned and have quality feuds/matches that would give both him and the US title a rub. The only problem, though, is the people who may be at that US title level also are pretty descipable heels. I'm thinking in particular Sheamus, DiBiase and actually Jericho (who has shown, to his credit, that he's not above taking/competing for a second-tier title).

Miz could have a long, successful US title reign, then drop it when he's ready for a main-event push. Like the good old days...

I think the most interesting thing is what they've done by pushing MVP and Kofi over to Smackdown. It's almost like they're saying "Oops, we screwed up. Let's try again" with their respective pushes.

How many times have they screwed up with MVP, though? Before they set him up with the Kool-Aid Man even? It's to the point where I could never believe MVP as a world champion.

Kofi, on the other hand? That's still believable.

I think MVP could still be a solid main eventer but it would take time. For one thing, he'd have to turn heel, particularly against someone as over as Kofi is as a face. He'd also have to drop the lame-ass 'ballin' gimmick. In fact, he'd have to reinvent himself ala Batista for me to really believe in him.

I think they're just putting a lot of stars on RAW to create confusion before Trips comes back and reigns as champ for, oh, about 10 months ::)

I agree with your general point, but DiBiase doesn't belong in that group at all. Miz is head and shoulders above him right now in the WWE pecking order.

Now that DiBiase's been mentioned, the "you want your own Virgil" skit was awesome.
