Problem with Raw is that there's too many stars jockeying for space. That can be a good thing but shit, if you're someone like Khali, you're so far down the pole you just hope for a 30-man Battle Royal every other week.

...they gonna make Miz defend his US title soon? It *has* to have been 30 days... :D

Maybe they adopted the Ronnie Garvin rule from the NWA.

He has no doubt had many, many defenses on house shows ;)

Which leads me to another rant. Why can't the WWE, once in a great while, have a title change at a house show?

The top belt hasn't changed hands at a house show since Nash beat Backlund in 8 seconds at MSG in '93. I think the last IC belt change at house shows was in the late 90s when Edge and Jarrett swapped the belts back and forth in two shows to give Edge a title win in Toronto. And I can't remember the last time the tag titles changed hands at a house show.

Having an occasional title switch, even if they switch the belts back a couple of weeks later, would lend more intrigue to house show title matches, rather than just being predictable that the champ will hold onto his strap. Kind of like the WWF's mid-90s 'Anything can happen' motto.

I'm sure if they try to make the Miz defend his title, he'll have a doctor's note.

I think they may keep the belt on him for now and have him drop it to Daniel Bryan to push NXT at some point. A match between the two is inevitable. Still, would be good to see Miz feud with someone on a singles basis, but they have to have something to do with Jericho since they're keeping him out of the title picture for now it seems.

I like the Virgil angle with DiBiase. I'm thinking his stooge may end up being Ezekiel Jackson if they can keep the search going that long. I could see them using it as a comedy angle, too, with him "auditioning" guys and Santino taking a turn, Yoshi Tatsu having a go, then Kozlov and finishing up with Goldust before he finds someone. Maybe it'll end up being one of the NXT rookies in the end, maybe Skip Sheffield.

I'd like to see them put a title on DiBiase at some point (even the U.S. title) and have him build up a new Million Dollar Corporation. Been done, but not lately in the WWE and could be kind of fun to see. Would also make an easy way to have a face turn heel by taking DiBiase's money. Not much will bring heat faster than being a sellout.

There was a title change a year or two ago at a house show. Of course, I can't remember which title, but I recall them discussing it on one of the TV shows using still photos.
Is that vague enough for you all? :)

UPDATE: When in doubt, use google.

Watching a stream of Today's Smackdown. I have to say Swagger has stepped up his game on the mic. He's definitely taking the ball and running with it.
