People are going to bitch, but I have no problem with the 15-15 setup or interleague games everyday. I'm totally fine with it.

I'd move Arizona and Colorado to the AL West with the Angels/Astros/Rangers and send Seattle and Oakland.

Might as well keep Seattle full-time in the Pacific time zone

The Mets weren't expected to do squat all season, yet he had them in contention for a wild card spot until the end of July. Until they traded Reyes got hurt and they traded away K-Rod and Beltran.

The Mets had been expected to just dump the veterans early and save on the salaries, but by doing so well early, created a dilemma for Wilpon and Alderson on whether or not to be buyers or sellers. They finally decided to sell, and collapsed at the end.

If they think they can handle the schedule, it doesn't bother me a ton. But the MLB schedule is brutal enough to produce as it is, this makes it significantly more complicated.

For both Mattingly and Collins this could also just be because they kept their teams going despite the absolute chaos going on with those franchises.

This move is completely unnecessary. I've been saying it again and again, but even though the current setup is unbalanced (a result of the astounding myopia in going to 3 divisions per league in 1994 and expanding to 30 teams in 1998), MLB should simply wait until it adds two more expansion teams. Then you have 16 in each league and no need for constant play against teams in the other league with which you're not actually competing for a playoff spot.
