Hanley=Manny Ramirez I don't think Red Sox fans could handle that even if he did help them win another WS. Red Sox fans just can't seem to accept the fact some guys are not Trot Nixon.

I think even Sawx fans realize a team full of Trot Nixons would lose 110 games every year.

That was part of ESPN's straight-up trade with the Red Sox: Valentine for Francona.

Speaking of both Tom Hicks and the NL East, the Nats are pulling out the 12-pounder for C.J. Wilson, according to Jim Duquette. Six years.

Rizzo is denying that six has been offered.

Just about every Nats beat writer has shot down Duquette's report emphatically.

And yeah, who ARE the Sawx? I checked the list of MLB teams and nowhere did I see those guys. Hmm.

Right now I think the Marlins would take a bucket of chicken and a six pack of beer for him. The chicken can be cold and beer warm.

Right now I think you're off your damn rocker.

HanRam isn't going anywhere, and if he is traded, it'll be because the Fish got an amazing return.

Depends if you think he is the player who hit .220 or so the first three months of the season or the player that hit .298 before getting hurt.

He did look so out of shape last season, though. If you are like the Yankees and can eat $15 mil or whatever he is paid if things go south, then he is worth the risk.

The Cubs have reportedly put in a bid for Pujols.
