Forget the injury issue . . . he can't be trusted without the motivation of the whip and the carrot.

So who is going to get Reyes, Bell and Pujols in two years when the Marlins have their next firesale?

This is starting to look like when Danny Snyder went apeshit about 10 years ago and started signing everything in sight. That didn't turn out too well, did it.

Loria is an art dealer and collector. That's all he's doing here.

He got his manager. Now he wants to give him toys.

Yeah, just like everyone wanted to hand the World Series to the Phillies last year after they signed Lee. But as a Braves fan, it's concerning that the Phillies are now no longer the only free-spending opponent in the division (with the Nationals probably soon to join them).

The Phillies looked like the best team in the league and they were. People who try to predict what will happen in the playoffs, especially before the season, befuddle me.

The Marlins with Reyes and Pujols still need some pitching.

Somebody tell Albert his potential new crib has insane dimensions. And not those that would work in his favor.

Marlins roster will be four players and a bunch of scrubs.

Red Sox may be talking to the As about Andrew Bailey, might make Bard a starter:

They learned from the Heat's mistake and went with one more star.

Blue Jays get Sergio Santos for Nestor Molina (a stud pitcher at A and AA last year).
