Finley's wife may have been a real ass. But she never beat him up.

Bruce Campbell's character on Burn Notice always uses "Chuck Finley" as his alias.

I don't think a citation is needed for an opinion. However, statistically they are very similar players. You can argue that Santo has a slightly higher OPS+ largely because he was better at getting on base. But even so, he didn't have as big an advantage in runs scored as he should have to make OBP such a difference maker.

Boyer had an MVP award and more speed. Each had five gold gloves. Santo had higher cumulative career stats, but he also had more plate appearances.

This is part of the performance art schtick, right? You're not REALLY mixing up ex-Angels P Chuck Finley with notoriously cheap ex-Oakland A's owner Charlie Finley, are you?

Santo is a definite. Minoso needs to have the color line and his late start factored in. Boyer, Tiant and Oliva have received support from me in the past, but I wouldn't say they should be in. Hodges same thing but a bit less so. As for owners, again I will petulantly say if media whore, with a reputation for being contemptible human beings (until they were old and feeble and people felt sorry for them) multiple WS owners (despite running their teams into the ground when they made the baseball decisions) are going to go in then he needs to go in as well.

Agree. Good guy, good on the air. He did some work at VT a few years back.

Fair enough, that's all I wanted to hear was a case. They are close enough that it's not indefensible

I'm not sure they should deal Jurrjens until they know for sure what is the deal with Hanson's shoulder.

The problem with Prado is that he can't hit well enough (or field well enough) to play an outfield corner full-time. And with Uggla locked up long-term and Chipper around at least one more year, there's nowhere to play him in the infield.

OK, so I'm not an idiot. (Well, maybe I am, but that's besides the point.)

I was thinking A's owner, but when everyone went with it, I started to think I was wrong.

This will help clear up misunderstandings about Rays attendance, and also how the Jaguars draw, for that matter.
