Canadian doctor performed blood-spinning on Tiger (legal). Didn't dispense anything.

It's almost remarkable how blindly you defend him on this issue, h. You really have no idea what did or did not happen with that doc. Did Tiger use HgH or did he blood dope? I don't know. But to pretend as though, in an era where PEDs were being used frequently by some of the best athletes in other sports to perform herculean feats, that Eldrick Tiger Woods is absolutely, 100 percent above suspicion simply because no one has ever proven something is absurd. Anyone ever proven Lance Armstrong blood doped?

Here is what we do know about Tiger Woods:

    1. For years, he was the most muscular guy on tour, the one golfer who wouldn't be embarrassed with his shirt off at the beach. From the time he joined the Tour full time, to the height of his bulk, the man practically doubled in size.

    2. Anthony Galea, a Canadian doctor who is not licensed to practice medicine in the United States, just to happened to be Woods go-to guy when it came to helping him rehab his knee.

    3. Galea was being investigated by the feds, who found records on his computer he was giving professional athletes HgH. One of his clients was swimmer Dara Torres, an athlete almost no one believes is clean.

    4. Galea was caught at the border with HgH.

    5. Tiger Woods -- as we now know -- has a history of lying, blatantly, to himself and the people closest to him, not to mention the public. He showed for years he had no problem rationalizing various things he considered to be immoral.

    6. Tiger Woods is obsessed, literally obsessed, with winning.

Does this mean Tiger Woods used PEDs? Of course not.

But let's not pretend you have any idea what went on between him and Galea. Unless you do, and you're sitting on it, because as Lee Steinberg said, "Let's give the kid a break!" Then I weep for us all.

Did anyone watch Quiros play this afternoon?

Son of a bitch; He makes everyone else look like Corey Pavin.

Quiros is a freak. Woodland is a freak. Tiger can't dream of hitting it like those guys. But like every Masters, fuhgeddaboutit 'til the back nine on Sunday.

Quiros' swing is a freak, too. They were getting ready to analyze his against Woodland's, and, I think it was Faldo or Feherty, said something like, "It's going to be a blur on slo-mo, too." He's quickly become the media and fan darling, with his devil-may-care body language and engaging post-round interview.

  6. Mickelson did a LOT of scrambling yesterday to get under par.
Wonder if he's in for a weekend like Winged Foot.

How did we ever function as a society without live streaming video of the Masters online?

Tiger making his move. Birdies on five of the last seven (and great par save on 11) as he heads to 15. Five back of McIlroy and tied for sixth.

El Tigre birdied 15... and just threw a dart on 16.

It would be a lot of fun to see Eldrick and Rory battling on Sunday, the aging legend and the cocky young phenom.

And he birdies 18 to get into the second-to-last group tomorrow. Birdied seven of the last 11 for a 66.
