He doesn't want to get beat up in the streets.

Just to remind folks they're supposed to cheer for his boring ass.

Excellent points from both of you.

Jesus, Kofi Kingston is frustrating to watch. He can basically jump off the screen, all to basically just...land on the other guy. Drop an elbow, drop a leg, do something in the air...anything!

    Hmm, a Stephanie appearance.

Kingston strikes me as Jeff Hardy minus the extreme aspect. I could see him sticking around for five to 10 more years, and getting a title shot as a result. He fits into the "good performer, no mic skills" category, along with Hardy and Mysterio.

Nice spot usage of Stephanie McMahon. Also, she's ballooned up a bit from the babies and not being on TV every day, it seems.

More reason to like Michelle Beadle: She's following along with Summerslam. [/crossthread]

FWIW, I thought Jeff Hardy was fantastic on the mic (and all-around) as a heel in TNA, but I see your point. I think of Kofi as a less-skilled Shelton Benjamin with a better look. I didn't give a damn if Shelton Benjamin couldn't talk...he often would do something nobody else could do, like jump all the way across the ring to almost literally eat a superkick from HBK. :D

Also, Sheamus as a face is still throwing me off.

She's big into WWE. You should check out her podcast from this week:

You're correct on Benjamin. Allegedly, the WWE finally released him because they were upset he wouldn't put the work in to get better on the mic. But heck, some of his athletic moves were so good that they should have just kept him. No shame in having the new Tito Santana for the next 10 years.

The Sheamus turn was a bit too quick for me. Fundamentally though, I think people want to cheer for a big ass Irish dude.

Speaking of Sheamus, no shame in jobbing like that.

Petrie, yeah. Nice spot with the barracade.
