Next PPV, which I think is Night of Champions ... who wants to bet we get a lame-ass four-way match for the strap between Del Rio, Punk, Cena and Rey?

Duh. Three-way battle at next PPV. And there's got to be a way that they make it a four-way for the next one.

Nash vs. Trips at Wrestlemania. Bank on it.

And in that match Nash will tear his knee walking to the ring and Trips will rip a quad trying to help him up

Meanwhile, this celebration erupts in Mexico City...

Yep. Rey wins the belt tomorrow in his hometown, then we get the four-way in which somebody other than Rey gets pinned to win the belt.

heh, Zing! Still, they seem to have one "classics" match a Mania now, so that one wouldn't be so bad. Have they ever really fought one another...? I can't remember a match between the two in their prime, although I imagine one might have happened during the NWO return.

Well, if this is a new corporation angle, Del Rio would be their best bet. No way they could have done something interesting, say, have Cena turn full heel. Too much money to lose on T-shirts.

Sorry to see Punk become a one-month champ.

Otherwise ... Rey, Del Rio, Cena, Punk ... yeah, fatal 4way in store for Night of Champions. Ugh. Two months of solid matches, one angle that could botch it all.

I know Triple H and Nash did an angle in 2002 or 2003. I've got a lame Hell in a Cell match from the Hell in a Cell DVD to prove it. I wouldn't exactly call Nash in his prime at that point.

Look, Cena vs. Rock and HHH vs. Nash is kind of the same theme. And of course, Undertaker will come out of his yearly hibernation to fight an oldie...Mankind?

Foley vs. Undertaker would be interesting; not sure if he's still under TNA contract, but he didn't leave the WWE on bad terms. HHH vs. Nash could be OK if it as kept really short, and I imagine HBK or even X-Pac would get involved as well.
