    Guess your theory was wrong.

So I guess Cena gets to stay in the title picture and Punk gets to deal with a pair of old men.
    Exciting.

Yeah, I hate being wrong. Punk kissed the belt last night.

Traditionally, if a champ kisses the belt before giving it to the ref, they're losing it, unless it's part of the character (like heel Savage, for instance).

Three other thoughts from the main event:

    1. That's how they give Mysterio time off for another surgery.

    2. Great line by JR about how ADR only pays 25 or 30 cents for his workers. If I was drinking something at the time, I would have done a spit take.

    3. Cena: "One of these days, you're going to have to defend that belt..." Um, John, he just did.

I'm at least happy they didn't wrap up the Nash/Punk/HHH/Stephanie reasoning tonight. Kudos to them for showing patience.

It sounded like the announcers were having a hell of a lot of fun tonight, especially during the main event. Even heel Cole was toned down a bit and throwing some zingers in there.

The announcers -- even Cole, like Batman said -- were hilarious tonight.

Really? Maybe he was just playing the character, but it sounded like JR hated his life during that Swagger-Bourne match. That match was uncomfortable for me to listen to - I had to fast forward through it.

I didn't really pay attention to that match -- was working the phones, taking soccer call-ins during it -- and didn't know there was a match going on until Bourne's music hit at the end.

Swagger wrestled Riley, not Bourne ... and yes, that match was a trainwreck in-ring and out of the ring.

    I like this Bourne-Kofi tandem.

Althought I think they could've done better with a Bourne-Ryder combo.

Look who got more camera time on Raw than Zach Ryder this week

That's who Cena was talking to about defending the title!
