The whole car wreck thing with Nash was a crock of shit. Terrible ending in my eyes.

Supposedly, Trips is looking into reviving the tag team scene. There were rumors he was looking at a couple of indy tag teams. If so, good for him.

This Punk/Cena/Del Rio/Nash/Trips storyline has spun out of control a little. So did Nash get into a car accident? Who told Johnny Ace? How did Nash recover so quickly?

There's a lot of stuff going on, and it may be very good. Or, it can totally fall flat on its face.

The whole scenario reeks of WCW.

The "car wreck" was a diversion to get Trips out of the arena so Diesel could get involved. Maybe Johnny Ace is behind this whole bit, doing Vince's bidding?

Of course it was a diversion.

Doesn't mean it was a good diversion.

It's a bit of a whirlwind angle. Lots of players in here. And while the car wreck thing was really dumb, it makes me wonder what's going to happen with Triple H going forward, which keeps me tuning in. I'm genuinely intrigued and amused by this angle.

R-Truth and The Miz were over-the-top hilarious tonight.

    "I can't believe I'm saying this, but R-Truth has a point."

R-Truth is gold. "You see, they sit around the conspiracy table and conspire."

Ok the car wreck wasn't a great way to put it, but they had to get Trips out if the building. That was as good a way as any.

It's clear that laurinitis sent the text. And it's clear that the meeting he had last week with Nash involved him being signed, at least temporarily. What's not clear is if Steph had Laurinitis send the text for her.

Either way, I'm surprised at the bitching going on after another great Raw. It wasn't that long ago when Raw was just about unwatchable.

    Now it's good tv again.

I don't think they're really going to Punk vs. Nash as a feud. They may have a match, possibly at a PPV, but the feud is Punk vs. The Machine (the concept, not a member of the masked WWF tag team of the 80s). Nash represents The Machine, but he's just the stalking horse for someone else (Vince? Stephanie? Is Johnny Ace an emissary or is he stoking the fires of revolution himself? Raw GM? Is this all a red herring and Nash is really doing Del Rio's bidding?)

I'm worried that R-Truth is running out of steam, or getting close to that point. It's one thing to have a couple of go-to catchphrases, but until the rap at the end, almost everything he said came off as Best of Nutty R-Truth. He reused almost every line that he's dropped since the turn. The renewed interest in him is pegged to his unpredictability; once that goes away, he's still the same R-Truth. They can't even come up with original music for him, they had to remix his beaten-to-death theme.

If Jack Swagger and Alex Riley continue to feud, they need to stop having Swagger use the gut-wrench power bomb. Whoever's fault it is, this is getting seriously embarrassing.

I don't know if this is Cena or the bookers (my guess is the latter, but this whole "call the reigning champion an afterthought" meme is not helping get Del Rio over any more than it did Miz when Cena was more concerned with the Rock until the very end. I'm hoping we're done with Cena-Punk for a while, because Cena really is only a symbol of Punk's problems with WWE, and Del Rio deserves a top-card feud with Cena. Right now he is to Cena/Punk/The Machine what Ricardo is to Del Rio.

They took a big risk by having Punk mention Stephanie as his choice for sending the text. Once he did that, it took her out of the mix as the sender. So that really leaves a big question mark as to who did it (and if they mention Vince, it'll become a total crapshoot). The simplest solution is that Del Rio or Ricardo sent it, but that might be underwhelming. Plus if Del Rio sent it, it'd be more like "MY NAME IS ALBERTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DEL RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIO but of course you already know that. Do me a favor bro, and stick whoever wins tonight. It is your ... DESTINY. Signed, hHh."

How can a man of Swagger's size not pull off a gut-wrench powerbomb? Maybe they're overselling how "difficult" it is to perform?

He hasn't had problems with it before and I know he's done it to wrestlers bigger than Riley. It's not a particularly rare move, so you'd think that even though Riley is inexperienced, he'd know how to go up for it. And if they were going to rematch, you'd assume they'd work on that one move since it was so glaringly bad the previous go. It would have been worse had the cameras shifted over to the end of whatever Dolph did to Vickie.

That whole angle is death, and I'm usually a Vickie fan. No idea why the WWE is using her with people who actually talk a bit on the mic and not embarrass themselves (Riley, Swagger, Dolph). Give her to Otunga and The Other Guy, who can't talk for shit.
