They never said. They just had HHH summon Punk to his office and told him he was taking Nash's spot. I assume they'll go into detail tonight on the super duper awesome special incredible megacool live Smackdown.

Every time I hear the phrase "Raw Super Show," I can't help but think of this:

Yeah, bet Captain Lou didn't envision that ending when he was hanging out with Cindy Lauper at the height of the Rock 'N Wrestling craze.

I'll never forget one of the bumpers on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, where Captain Lou tells the kids, "If you don't come back, you'll turn into a goomba!"
Made me imagine some 5-year-old run crying and screaming to his mom, "MOM! Mario said I'm gonna turn into a goomba! Waaaahhhh!"

Poor Danny Wells, the forgotten man of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show:

Although his casting begs the question, why go with Capt. Lou as Mario and not another wrestler as Luigi? Was Danny Davis and his evil reffing brother busy? Also, the one episode I had on tape of the show was the one where Roddy Piper guest stars.

Anyone besides me see the Discovery Channel show on Indie Shows? It was interesting at points, especially with the RoH tryout. The Thai kid has star written all over him, while the other dude looks blown up and coked out ...

OK, so I'm putting together the section for tomorrow afternoon's paper, which includes an advance for Saturday night's Xtreme Bulls event at the rodeo. I pull up the file info for my secondary piece, which lists the bull's name..."Little Jimmy." :D
