While we wait for Royal Rumble fallout, here's a (relative by its standards) interesting TNA spoiler from tapings for Thursday's show. Teeny tiny spoiler text incoming!

Originally, "they" were going to be the return of the Main Event Mafia, but with Nash and Booker T showing up at the Rumble last night, that got scrapped. "They" revealed themselves at the end of the Anderson-Jeff Hardy match, which Anderson won. Immortal and Fortune came out for a beatdown, but Fortune turned on Immortal, and afterward Styles announced that his group was in fact "they". No Hulk Hogan, despite weeks of buildup that he was returning on this show. Now they're saying the March 3 show. Also no Ric Flair at the tapings. No word yet on why, but he did briefly leave the European tour over a pay dispute. Or they could be holding him with Fortune's impending face turn.

Why is The Miz stumbling over every other word?

Kayfabe time: Why would you make the choice about which champion to face tonight? Elimination Chamber is in three weeks; both champions could lose then. Why wouldn't you make your choice the Raw after EC?

The limo ... the spanish accent ... now a guitar. It's sad that WWE has outsourced all its old gimmicks to Mexico like this. Alberto Del Rio is taking good gimmicks from American wrestlers, dammit!

Wait...what? The RAW Elimination Chamber won't be for the title? I assume it would be for the #1 Contender spot at Mania?

Not sure how I feel about that. It makes the WM title match seem like a bigger deal, but it takes away from the EC show. I guess they're gambling on the idea that the match itself will be a draw whether the title is on the line or not. Plus it pretty much guarantees Miz will have the title until WM.

Is there any scenario in which Miz doesn't lose the belt to Cena or *maybe* Orton at Wrestlemania? That's got to be written in stone at this point.

Definitely can't imagine him facing someone other than Cena or Orton (and Orton just kicked Husky Harris's head off his shoulders, so he's probably going to be occupied with CM Punk at WM). No other top faces on Raw. I guess Booker T would be an outside possibility if he gets a decent push now that he's back, and apparently the reaction he and Nash got last night has made WWE consider giving them more to do going forward. And if we assume Orton-Punk and HHH-Sheamus for WM, there may not be much else for Cena to do.

I'd say it's a strong possibility Cena goes over Miz, especially if it's the last match of the card. Which it probably will be, since I can't imagine Edge-Del Rio in that spot, and there's no guarantee of an Undertaker match.

It wasn't the hardest punch ever, but Lawler's shot to Dibiase's jaw looked pretty legit. There was some solid contact there.

They really need to bring this Cole-Lawler stuff to a head already. Not that the announcing has been any great shakes with that pair, but now it's completely in the way of the action. Problem is, I don't know if Cole would be a good manager (and besides which, they don't use managers in WWE). So he either has to be the Raw GM revealed, or he's stuck.

    2-11-11.

Sting is on his way ... and since the 11th is a Friday, apparently to Smackdown.

Am I the only one that would be worried about wearing spandex trunks while rolling around with Gail Kim & the Bella Twins on tv?
