CM Punk: I'm your time keeper, I'm the commentary. I do everything. I wear a lot of hats here.

    Awesome.

More Punk: "How do I do this? One ring or two?"

This is certainly something I've never seen before.

Loved when Triple H said he was the only one wearing stripes, and Punk hiked up his shirt to reveal he had stripes on his trunks.
    It's the little things, man.
Still, this whole thing feels like an episode of the Little Rascals, when they'd be trying to raise money for something or other and announced, "Let's put on a show!"

Oh well, I was hoping Punk would do commentary for a lot longer than half-a-match. Although he did get in an Art Donovan reference right before Vince came out.

Well there's a shock. Ross gets embarrassed again in Oklahoma.

And why does there even need to be an interim GM, when the anonymous one did such a bang-up job?

  6. Billy Martin (wherever his soul lies) thinks Jim Ross gets fired too much.

  7. Shit, Jack Swagger....That had to be one of the most wicked powerbombs I've ever seen seen. Wouldn't be shocked if Evan Bourne didn't get a concussion.

Yeah, Bourne looked legitimately hurt on that. He didn't pop up to celebrate the win with a little selling. He was still laying there.

Wait ... JR got fired again?

Awesome. Miz and R Truth are back.

Not sure if I like their return at the expense of what could've been a solid Punk-Del Rio match, though.

    Yep. Again.

The story being that Ace and JR didn't get along from before, and Ace said that JR showed no loyalty to Trips for walking out on him last week after Trips had rehired him. Which means more air-time for Cole to fill.

Pretty good Raw, although I wasn't too crazy about the ending. Thought they should have just kept it Punk/Del Rio, then have Miz/Truth interfere and Trips run them off.

And I must say, once again, it's too bad that Punk has been somewhat neutered, relatively speaking (also loved his line on "Kevin Nash ran down to the ring ... slowly."). They should have had him lead the walkout last week, and thrown a few legitimate things in there (working conditions, contract stuff). That would have been more fun. but oh well.

Punk was awesome in his brief time doing commentary.
