It doesn't break much new ground for people that know of Scott Hall...but, damn, that was rough to watch.

Very sad and depressing while at the same time not really anything we didn't know. Scott Hall took cocaine with HBK? Who didn't know that...

What the promoter did was perhaps heartless but the right thing to do. Scott showed up the way he did and the promoter allowed Scott to see himself on TV of how his life has transformed into. Scott himself even said he does not remember anything that happened that night so the promoter let him remember and hopefully it stays in his memory and gets his life together. But I think I said this about eight years ago and look where we are now, At it's absolute worst. Good luck Scott but I can't say I would put my money on you being alive in two years but I will sure be cheering for you!

Just watched it myself. Agree that it's nothing new, but I'd think it would be an excellent show to present to kids in schools about the hazards of doing drugs and excessive alcohol.

Hall is essentially racing to his bottom right now, and hopefully he doesn't kill himself in the process.

Horrific story. And man, Sean Waltman looked old.

And it's ironic that the segment that immediately followed Scott Hall's was Doc Gooden. Another fallen star case.

  10. Scott Hall is 53? Wow.

  11. Bischoff's comments still resonate with me in the fact that while Hall is indeed responsible for his own actions, one has to wonder had there been reasonable adults in charge of WCW in 1998, perhaps some of this could have been averted. Yeah, he was on the track to self-destruction while in WWF, but it appears that as long as he could cut a promo and give a decent in-ring showing, no one had his best interests in mind during that time.

You can't help but root for him, yet if there's a Raw that opens with "In Memory of Scott Hall" within the near future, few -- if any -- would be shocked.
