Random note. Just watched a documentary called "Card subject to change" on Netflix Streaming. It profiled indy wrestling and was, at times, interesting.

More than anything else, though, what this flick did was show me that there's a great indy wrestling documentary out there to be made. This, at times, was very, very interesting but it felt like a rough draft of a bunch of interesting clips through together. It didn't really have a flow and there wasn't a point to it all really.

Still, interesting to see some of the old WWE faces (Kamala, Billy Kidman, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Spike Dudley) pop up here and some of the young indy guys looked kind of cool.

I might have to check one of these small shows out someday. Heck, I might even contact one and see if I can shoot it. I think it would make some damn good photos.

Indy shows are a lot of fun. I've been to plenty. Feel free to drink a lot and be real obnoxious to the bad guys as they enter. They love it...no, really...they do.

There are two in RI, actually: http://www.facebook.com/powerleaguewrestling and EPW, which might be defunct. I did a story on EPW because they were mostly based in Warren, RI. Fun little promotion; they had Scotty 2 Hottie in for a few events, and I got to interview him.

I've been to a couple of indy shows, and they are a lot of fun, but they were fundraisers for local charities, instead of the underground promotions. Still, it was good bang for the buck.

And I'll have to check out that documentary. There was one on MTV about 10 years or so ago that followed Trips (on what it was like to be in the WWF), Tony Atlas (as an old guy hanging on) and a young guy (don't recall his name) who was preparing for his first match.

I covered an indy show a few years back. It was fun, but it also showed me how good the top-level pros really are.

It was interesting just uncoordinated. I enjoyed watching some of the behind-the-scenes stuff with the Indy fed booker/promoter and really enjoyed the profiles of two of the young up-and-comers.

I guess my biggest problem with it was it seemed like someone wrote out a great documentary feature and, somewhere in the editing process, it went to shit.

Just looked at the card for tomorrow's Vengeance on wwe.com. When is the last time a non-Wrestlemania card had 8 matches announced before the show started? It's actually a damn solid card, and, even better, it's on a non-gimmick themed show.

Anyone? Tried Justin.TV, but every link on there just got shut down.

  10. I haven't had a chance to see if any worked, but try atdhe.me. They should have a list of links

I just started watching after losing interest in Colts/Saints. Looks like Trips legitimately got hurt there.

Nice job Nash. Looks like you fucked up again.

That was very good, but the crowd was dead for most of the match.
