Henry's mini-feud with Sheamus was a draw. Presuming they leave the belt on Henry for the forseeable future (and presuming they don't follow through on this teased Henry-Daniel Bryan match at WM), 'ol Lobsterhead is the natural choice for "who takes him down"

Hindsight being what it is, they should have rearranged Henry's opponents. Have him put out Kane and The Big Show. Give him some guppies to smash until Big Show comes back. Beat him again. The hot question going into Wrestlemania season: Can anyone stop this guy? At which point Sheamus, quietly gaining momentum and discreetly dropping his heel mannerisms over time, utters those famous words "OIL FOIGHT 'IM". Then you have your Wrestlemania (or perhaps Royal Rumble) match.

    However ...

If they want to do Undertaker-Henry, they should switch the belt. Have him slip on a banana peel to Bryan on a quickie cash-in, or have him lose it without getting pinned in the Elimination Chamber match in February (perhaps Undertaker comes out during the match and attack Henry, perhaps).

That's probably the best way to go, now that I think about it. It sets up an issue between Undertaker and Henry while getting the title out of the mix. Then Bryan cashes in at WM as planned against whoever wins at EC (Christian? Cody Rhodes? Does Ziggler continue to wrestle two matches per PPV and somehow enter the Smackdown match?).

If you do that, you get a potential (albeit incomplete) WM card (sponsored by Grantland) of:

    Rock vs. Cena
    Undertaker vs. Henry
Miami Street Fight, Winner Runs WWE: HHH vs. Kevin Nash (representing Vince McMahon and/or Johnny Ace)1
WWE title: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Sheamus2
World title: CM Punk3 (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
Intercontinental title vs. Career: Cody Rhodes vs Goldust4
World Tag Team title: Awesome Truth (c) vs. Percy Watson/Titus O'Neal5
U.S. title: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Jack Swagger6
Some damned thing involving the Divas (is Awesome Kong back by then? please?)
Other matches TBD from the grab bag of Kane (if healthy), Mysterio (if healthy), John Morrison, Wade Barrett (if not otherwise used), Chris Jericho (if back), Air Boom (unit or individuals), Zach Ryder, Santino, etc ...

1 -- I don't know if HHH vs. Nash has legs until WM. If not, substitute someone in Nash's spot. This could be a place for Brodus Clay, depending on how much he gets pushed in the coming months. If he's not ready and Nash is done, perhaps Wade Barrett (see below)
2 -- I have Sheamus winning the Royal Rumble, then deciding to jump to Raw to take down Del Rio. Raw could use another major-over face, especially if they do entertain thoughts about turning Cena. The trick would be having the honorable Celtic Warrior Lobsterhead do this without making him look scared of Henry. Maybe he waits until after Elimination Chamber to make his choice on who to target, sees Henry is occupied with Undertaker sans belt, then chooses Del Rio over Barrett ...
3 -- ... Barrett, of course, having won the World Title at Elimination Chamber after Henry gets taken out by Undertaker. Sheamus picks Del Rio as his Wrestlemania opponent on the Raw after EC. Whoever the hell is running WWE at this point announces that with Sheamus moving to Raw, Smackdown gets a wrestler of equal value. CM Punk comes out, Barrett is outraged, a pipebomb or three later, we get a Barrett-Punk match at the end of Raw, which Punk wins. Convoluted, but a Punk-Bryan feud/series is better suited for Smackdown than Raw.
4 -- Goldust is using TWITTER HEY EVERYONE WWE USES TWITTER AND SOME RANDOM TURN OF PHRASE IS *TRENDING* ON *TWITTER* to angle for this match. So why the hell not.
5 -- Some day, NXT Season 5 will end. They've been teaming on that show a good bit anyway, and they're not horrible. I suspect Air Boom won't last by then -- they'll either break up and feud or just wither away.
6 -- It'll take forever, but that stable will break up too. Vickie turns on the eventual loser, who comes out of it with a face turn.

They can pave over it whenever they want, just like how they can change "25th anniversary" to mean "25th show"

In my dreams, Cena turns heel on Undertaker, snaps the streak and things get interesting. These two fought on SmackDown years ago, but they haven't worked since then, right? Still a fresh feud there.

But, Cena/Rock screws all of that up, and for what? A rehash of Hogan/Rock? Old vs. new? Meh.

Of course, only people like us will heat up for Punk/Bryan.

Who knows? They're supposedly about to push Punk like crazy. Even his merch page has blown up. Lightning fist logos on lots of stuff. It shall be a BitW Christmas for me!

So, the PPV's tonight. Any predictions?

I'm going to take Miz/Truth over Rock/Cena. Can't really see it ending any other way. I'll go with Rock and Cena getting snippy at each other and Rock laying Cena out to set up the Mania match more.

I'll also take Del Rio over Punk. I've got to think they keep the strap on Del Rio at least until Rumble, if for no other reason than to continue the Del Rio Punk feud to TLC.

I'm taking Henry over Big Show but I think Daniel Bryan comes in to cash Money in the Bank after Show knocks Henry out and either 1.) He decides not to cash it on a weakened moment, thereby setting him up as a super face or 2.) He cashes it in, loses, and spends the next couple months regretting it.

I'll also take Team Orton over Team Barrett but simply because I think the rest of the card is too heel-friendly.

And I'll take Ziggler over Morrison because it keeps Ryder in the title picture.

Starting with Ziggler/Morrison...with the requisite "We want Ryder!" chants.

Also, kinda wish they went with the old-school MSG setup. *sigh*

Ziggler def. Morrison to retain US title.
Tuned out during the Diva match...think Beth retained.
Rock cut a promo. Since it was Rock, it was solid but lasted a little too long. [/twss]
5-on-5 match in progress. Cody Rhodes getting a face reaction throughout the match, especially when he pinned Mason Ryan, who was booed by the 200 or so fans who cared.
