I don't think the Kane promo, which was blatantly Kane, and the hidden promo for the Youtube video are necessarily related. Why be so blatant about the one being Kane and then approach the other as a viral video?

I'd dig one more over-the-top feud between Undertaker and Kane. Kane with the mask, Undertaker leaning more on his Phenom/Deadman gimmick. Start it at the Rumble, finish it with a career vs. career match at Wrestlemania. Don't have it involve anyone else, except perhaps Paul Bearer. Completely self-contained and smacking of the late 90s. Two months of promos and magic and attacks on each other leading to the big match. Maybe even wrap up the loose ends on the storyline (who finally killed their parents? is Paul Bearer really either's dad?). It'll come off cheesy, but fans are willing to cut Undertaker serious slack with his character, and they'll mark for the return of masked Kane.

Fans have always been willing to cut Undertaker slack and I agree one last "War to Settle the Score" feud with Kane would be fun to watch. However, I do think Undertaker needs to retire with the Wrestlemania streak intact. Everybody there now either doesn't need the rub from that kind of win (i.e. Punk, Cena, HHH, Orton, etc.) or isn't seen as big enough by the fans to merit being given that kind of a win (i.e. Sheamus, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, etc.)

  4. Weak-assed way to end Awesome Truth. And when the endgame appears to be Cena-Miz 33, then it becomes more lazy and pathetic for WWE to end what had been one of their better ideas. You easily could have kept this storyline running through RR or Elimination Chamber.

I understand the lack of quality heels on Raw and can understand why you'd want to put Miz back in the spotlight alone, but to essentially end it because of Cena's game of "Telephone?"

This is the reason why Awesome Truth ended:

Makes sense now. As they were doing the angle, I was thinking that it was too soon to break up the team. However, that hasn't stopped WWE from doing dumb stuff in the past.

  7. Wonder if they had to alter their SS main event ending because of Truth's suspension also?

  8. Agreed.

The story is he and Evan Bourne smoked Spice at a party. They suspended Bourne pretty quickly. But it got leaked that a main-eventer at SS was only getting a fine for smoking marijuana (marijuana is a finable offense, synthetic marijuana is a Wellness Policy violation), and apparently it was him.

What do you do with R-Truth? He's not ready for a face turn after bitching about lil Jimmies for the last few months. Maybe he moves to Smackdown.

Surprised they didn't pin R-Truth if they knew they were going to suspend him. As to what to do with him, I think he comes back as a heel, maybe on Smackdown. But at least there is the potential for a Miz feud, even though that would be a heel vs. heel feud.

I knew that Evan Bourne was a bad influence.

Who had the clean-cut white guy on that team getting popped for smoking weed instead of the "Jamaican"?
