Don't know if anyone saw Smackdown, but they pulled a bullshit Dusty finish ending.

Henry came to ringside with a crutch, said he wasn't fit to compete. Big Show comes down, KOs Sexual Chocolate again.

Bryan comes down, cashes in MITB. Henry is still knocked out, but Bryan rolls him over and pins him. Place goes nuts.

Then Teddy Long came out, said that since Henry wasn't able to compete, that the match never happened, and put Bryan in a fatal-fourway with Orton, Rhodes and Barrett with the winner to get a title shot in a cage match on a live Smackdown this Tuesday. Bryan won, and also kept the briefcase.

If it wasn't for Del Rio beating Punk when he was still down, I'd say that it made sense for Bryan not to win, because Henry never woke up from the punch. But because they fucked up the Del Rio win, now they look stupid for not letting Bryan win. Bryan did a helluva job selling handing back the belt.

I thought it was stupid. But the "rules" say the champ has to be aware of what's going on.

It seems like a mistake to me, like the first time Jericho "won" the belt from Triple H, on the Hebner fast count. If the place explodes that much for the title change, I think you should just go with it for a bit. Heck, work toward a title vs. title match at Mania, Bryan vs. CM Punk, and try to make the Internet explode in orgasmic joy.

And JoMo has officially been written out.

Nice match between Punk and Del Rio, but the rest of thecard was boring. If all this Cena psychology crap doesn't lead to a maasive heel turn, it's a waste of everyone's time.

I didn't understand the whole 'let's bring piper back and see what happens.' It was stupid and boring and did nothing.

Actually, I thought the exact opposite. Piper built off the ending to the Survivor Series perfectly ... how he was mentioning all these other icons getting great cheers, while Cena, the icon of his generation, drew boos. Cena is saying the right things right now, but his physical mannerisms are showing irritation.

For all the complaining we do about hot shotting storylines, I think building toward Cena's eventual snapping point is being played out perfectly.

I enjoyed Punk's reaction at the end.

    "Why are we arguing?"

Great stuff. I can't wait for TLC.

It was interminable. Piper has lost a step, granted it was a step most guys never had to begin with but still....

I thought Piper was just OK. It looked like he was trying to bring his 'A' game, but he fell short.

But here's the thing. If they're building up to a Cena heel turn, I'd rather they not build it up. Have it come from out of the blue, after all this booing. I don't want to see five months of Cena being reminded of the boos, then snapping. Have him snap epically, then explain that he's tired of the BS.

Otherwise, I thought the rest of the show was pretty good, considering there isn't a PPV to hype up yet. JoMo's write-off was done well, Bryan's promo was surprisingly good, and Ziggler got the win over Orton in a way that doesn't make either of them look bad.

To me, Smackdown and Raw were both major-league feelers ... Bryan holding up the belt, to see how the crowd reacts, as well as Cena heel turn, to see how the kids would react.
