No matter who it is, it's definitely a hybrid of both characters.

Same guy, just a little older. No Undertake here.

And the thought of bringing 'Taker back to wrestle Cena at WM after the Rock-Cena build would be insane. There's no way you build that match for a year and then don't deliver it.

No way it's Caloway. He walked to the ring like Jacobs, he has Glen's shoulders/musculature.

As he was beginning to take off the first mask, I suddenly thought it was going to be a big swerve, but then I saw the face, even being hid behind the second mask, and recognized it was definitely Glen Jacobs.

You guys do know that Taker has a shitload of tattoos, right?

Which is why I'm wondering if they did some incredible makeup job, or if they're using Jacobs now, and they'll switch Taker out for him when the big reveal happens.

Or, our imaginations are just running really wild.

Ah, fuck it. Just turn Cena heel already.

Exactly. The last month has been so much fun, with Punk, Bryan and Ryder winning belts, with some good matches and some good stories, with so much foreshadowing, that we might as well have fun. I mean, if all that can happen, what's next? And if nothing else, some of Kane's mannerisms made him look like the Undertaker (especially the removal of the top mask during the return -- just like the hat removal), which is maybe just a nod to conspiracists.

Apropos of little else, I love this banner ad across the bottom of the page from greengamesandham.com: "Choose Your Favorite Wrestler -- Cody Rhodes, Brodus Clay, Goldust, Big Show, Daniel Bryan, Curt Hawkins." Not if it shows up for everybody, but I'm laughing.

So, all signs lead to that strange promo being the return of Jericho, it would seem.

I've loved Jericho since when he debuted in WCW, but I'd have to imagine that this is going to be his last stint with the company.

Makes for an interesting feud with C.M. Punk.

  9. Guess I'll ask the question we all have: Who did you choose?

Why, my boy Doink the Clown, of course. He's in my Fave Five!

Kane has always pulled the glove up on his way to the ring. I remember him doing it when they brought him in the first time as the brother Undertaker thought had died in the funeral home fire storyline.

The promos have worked. BCS Bowl or no BCS Bowl, I'm watching Raw Jan. 2.

I know this is typically a time of year where Vince tries new Main Eventers, but I'm really enjoying where they are going with all the title belts for the first time in years.

Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler and Zach Ryder deserve a lot of credit for making everyone care about the "lesser" title belts again. As far as I'm concerned, Rhodes and Ziggler are very close to being Main Event guys.

My wife and I were talking about it on the way to TLC. Aside from the TLC Main Event, we were most looking forward to the U.S. Title Match. I can't ever remember that being the case before. And Ziggler and Ryder delivered.
