Booker can still wrestle, and he's fairly entertaining, but I'm not sure how you use him. There are plenty of solid midcard guys already in the WWE, at least to me. I think they're missing that transcendent star, with Cena coming up just a bit short.

Maybe The Miz can be that guy; he sure is good in various media spots. I'd love to see him put together a long streak where he actually beats guys convincingly, vs. barely holding on to the title.

Really, has there ever been a match where, going in, EVERYONE knew who was going to win, but you still really wanted to see it?

I mean, even when Trips was running the show, there was a microsm of hope that he actually would lay down for someone. Same with John Cena. There's no way Taker loses at WM, especially to a rent-a-wrestler. But damn, the intrigue. It's a match that, if it happens, the build is going to way overshadow the actual match.

"THAT'S THE MOST ILLEGAL THING I'VE SEEN IN THE HISTORY OF WRESTLING!"

Incredibly ridiculous, but oh so entertaining.

Started watching it, thought it was the most cheesy thing I'd ever seen ...

... until the 1:30 mark. Then, it became the most frightening thing I've ever seen ...

Oh well, at least the fans sounded like they were enjoying it.

  9. Second the fact of having Booker T back as a Smackdown commentator. Watched it taped last night/this morning, and he looked pretty solid, especially with the back and forth with Michael Cole. If this is a farewell tour for Lawler, then a pairing of Booker and Cole could be entertaining, though probably not as much as JBL and Cole.

I saw that video and my two thoughts are:

    1) With the way that thing has gone viral, that company will be re-enacting that at every show they do for the forseeable future.

    2) I wonder if the WWE will be inspired to rip off this bit—maybe introduce a hypnotist character to try to cash in on it.

You apparently aren't old enough to remember the Ultimate Warrior-Papa Shango feud.

One of the worst feuds of all time. That shit doesn't belong in wrestling.

    In the lower-tier companies, fine.
