    TNA is so frustrating. They have oodles of talent and interesting guys like Angle and Kennedy, but just horrible, horrible booking. If they had someone with half of McMahon's competence, then they could do something, but right now they're just floundering. It must be a weird effing vibe over there.

    OK, I blew through this book in less than three days. Real page turner, couldn’t put it down, etc. etc. I eagerly anticipated this book for a couple of years and wasn’t a bit disappointed.
    Jericho does a real good job of recounting his early days in WWE, which were a lot rockier than I realized. Lots of great stories, of course, of stuff like his program with Chyna, which didn’t go too well, and his matches with The Rock, who turned out to be the one guy who supported and encouraged him through his first couple of years. Oh, and a good blow-by-blow of the backstage skirmish with Goldberg.
    He also devotes a lot of time to his trials and tribulations touring with Fozzy, which allows him to express his opinions on the music business, which is ripe for the picking. There’s also one anecdote with Scott Erickson that reinforces the notion that the former MLB pitcher is a real douchebag. And reading the earlier post about Scott Steiner tonight reminds he has another passage in the book talking his efforts to do promos with Steiner in the WWE.
    Also, a couple of compelling chapters deal with the death of his mother and, of course, the whole Chris Benoit situation. Those make for good reading, though a departure from the amusing tone from the rest of the book.
    In all, an outstanding read. If you like A Lion’s Tale, definitely get this one. However, do not read this without reading ALT first – there’s a lot of references you wouldn’t get if you didn’t read the first book.

    Just ordered it on Amazon. Cost me $18.98, including shipping {cross-threading with the Borders thread}

    I'm looking forward to reading it. I'm intrigued to find out that the WWE locker room isn't all as loving and supportive as they claim to be.

    Bought Jericho's book the other day at Borders. A 40 percent discount coupon + gift card = good book for $1.52 out of pocket.
    Now I just have to finish one other book before I get to it. I might need to load up on Taco Bell and spend some heavy time in the library this week.

    Even WCW had a good match once in a while (almost never at the top of the card).

    TNA 2011 is just WCW V2.

    Was that just a "botch" on the mic by the Divas? Laughing, one of them goes "girl are you okay, haha, I'm okay!"

    Rock-Miz feud beginning at Wrestlemania. I will accept no less.

  9. I'll raise your Rock-Miz with a Rock-Cena.

    Mother of God, this is why TNA can never be WWE.

    Is he back for good? Sure, sounds like it.

    Man, I hope so. He's "only" 38, which is pretty young by wrestling standards, so I'm hoping he's actually getting back into the ring.

    "Looking like he was shot out of Barney's anus!"

    Wow. Cena getting punked out.
