Jeff Hardy's last Tweet, at a little after 1 a.m. today: Things are op

Make of that what you will

Shelton could borrow the oversized helmet Tara used, don some long sleeves and gloves and maybe pull it off. :D

Another way is this: have lesser- or no-name guys run in first (no disguises, just run in, kick ass and leave), then build up to Shelton as the last man (or second to last before the Styles swerve).

On another topic: What the hell happened to the TV title? Put it on Styles (where it should've never left), and have him work 10-minute matches with some of the younger/homegrown talent for a few months. ECW made that title work; hell, WCW made that title work. It's a throwaway belt (I know, all of them are in TNA), but Styles would bring a whole lot of credibility to the belt and, like I said earlier, people will tune in and/or pay money to see A.J. Styles wrestle.

That video is something awful. Hardy needs to get help, immediately.

As far as what TNA needs to do now, it's been posted on this thread numerous times: Get rid of Bishoff, Hogan and the like, and start over. I don't mind Sting being champ at all because I've always been a huge Sting mark. Just get Bishoff and company out, and start fresh.

Spoilers coming in, and they appear to be acting as though Hardy's done. They threw away the Hardy belt and Hogan said Hardy embarrassed Immortal. Hogan then said that main event wrestlers around the world are "wanting to jump on his back and join in with the tsunami taking over wrestling." No shit.

Getting rid of the Hardy belt is a step in the right direction. Like all personalized belts, it doesn't work as well when the person it's designed for isn't the champ.

It also doesn't work as well when it looks like it should be around Michelle McCool's waist

Watching Cena's promos, then watching the Rock respond and absolutely eviscerate him, is like watching Obama debate Scott Steiner. The Rock is just in another league.
I seriously wonder if Cena will ever recover from this.

To be fair though, pretty much anything would look better around Michelle McCool's waist.

If they're not turning him heel at some point, then yeah, I agree with you. He is just brutalizing Cena on the mic, and it doesn't even matter that it's all satellite stuff.

Love the lock-box that Cole is in. He's no Bobby Heenan (even if he did drop in a "broadcast journalist" reference) but I like him better as a heel announcer than a neutral / face one.

Pretty impressive finish to the Sheamus/Bryan match. Not as good as HBK/Shelton, but still nicely done.

I also agree, Rock is making Cena look like absolute shit. There's got to be a heel turn, otherwise, all of his support is going to go poof.

And I'm wondering who they've got from Lawler's past? Guess we'll find out shortly.

Please let it be the Kat.

  12. Was hoping the same. Sadly, it's Brian Christopher.
