And I guess Mysterio wins by countout, although we never see the ref counting. When little stuff like that gets overlooked, that means a sloppy show.

Although I liked Punk's little performance, especially telling Orton's wife to shut up. But at the same time, they've built Orton up as this psychotic guy who hears voices in his head. Now he's a psychotic guy with a wife and kid. It kinda cuts the nuts off the character.

I missed the beginning of the show, but I didn't see a HOF video package. WWE.com announced Abdullah the Butcher. Well deserved, but I would have liked to have seen a video of it.

And that last segment was ... meh. Miz was fine, as usual. But we have furniture movers on the satellite, then Riley gets beat up again. Zzzzzzz.

Would have been more effective if Cena talked from the screen, then surprised them by sneaking through the crowd. Nope. Just a cheesy ending.

That, or they keep the spotlight on the "new and improved" belt as Miz explains what's going on. When the lights finally come up, Cena's standing behind him and proceeds to whup some ass.
As it was, I feel like I've seen that ending to a show a hundred times before.

Had a nice spot, too, where she got tossed out of the ring and showed a little thong action. Very well done.

Was there anyone here who didn't see Orton come off that bus, hear him talk about how much he loved it because it allowed his wife and daughter to travel with him and immediately know that Punk was going to end up at that bus taunting Orton's family before the night was over?

I mean, Jesus, this stuff is getting way, way, way too predictable.

And I agree with the person who wondered why Cole vs. Lawler was the most developed storyline heading into Mania. I asked my wife that same thing.

This whole thing reeks of sloppy planning. It's like they had their eyes on Cena vs. Punk and Orton vs. Miz for Mania but then, all of a sudden, the Rock was free and they scrapped everything they had built up.

This card should be: * Undertaker vs. HHH (And instead of ignoring the WM17 match and the history with HBK, those storylines should have been the focus of this angle, not some BS about being the last outlaws); Miz vs. Orton (Which was building up nicely by Rumble); Cena vs. Punk (I mean, he only battled Nexus for like six months); Cole vs. Lawler (Which has been really well developed, even if it is getting repetitive now); Edge vs. Del Rio; Trish Stratus vs. Michelle McCool (Past vs. Present Divas); Wade Barrett vs. Big Show (Not some BS hybrid of Corre vs. whoever's not booked on the show) and MITB featuring Swagger, Kane, Bourne, Sheamus, Morrison, Mysterio, Justin Gabriel, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.

Oh well, guess we'll have to stagger through a half-assed card this year. Still, I can't complain. Some of my favorite Manias have been the ones with the weakest pre-planning.

Miz is getting on my nerves. Then again, so has Captain WWE. I wish Rock would kick both their asses and win the crown.

He has to show up first.

What? He can't win via satellite?

    He's "Bringing It" next week.

Like I said, there was no way in hell they were going to put Rock and Cena in the same ring together anytime soon. They always keep those kind of match faceoffs apart until the week before Mania.

    Look at HHH/Taker as well.

And last night's card was definitely throw away material.

You could tell by the way she was reacting that it appeared Trish broke her belt or buckle, because she was constantly pulling up her pants whenever her butt crack showed, which was often. Not that I'm complaining.

It's funny, though, to see someone trying to sell while pulling up their britches.

I know I'm a few weeks late, but Jericho's latest book was the first one I downloaded onto my iPad. I breezed through it in the last four days, although admittedly, I skipped past some of the Fozzy stuff as I found myself getting bored.

Great read and a good look at some of the backstage stuff that goes on. For whatever reason, I really enjoy getting that look behind the curtain at the way some decisions are made, and how some of the guys interact with each other. The chapter about Benoit was haunting but fascinating.

I often find CJ the person a little too full of himself, but he's a good writer and great storyteller. And I'm sure I'll buy book No. 3 when it comes out in two or three years.
