2012-13 College Basketball Running Cordial Discussion

SEC = three-bid league. Five at most if UT and Ole Miss overachieve. Worst I can remember.

 

Florida, Missouri and Kentucky are the only locks, but at least one or two of Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas A&M will make it.

 

Tennessee got a good win against Wichita St., but time is running out for resume-building games. 12-4 in league is meaningless without upsetting at least one of the big three. Alabama has folded against real competition and the Aggies have already been thumped by Saint Louis and Oklahoma.

 

And Arizona escapes again. CU got hosed. Ball is clearly out of Chen's hand with 0.1 on the clock.

Good game, too

 

Good game in the ABQ last night. Lobos couldn't buy a free throw, but UNLV couldn't hit a shot or prevent itself from coughing up the ball to take advantage.
The Cowboys run finally came to an end courtesy a much improved Boise team, and SDSU escapes in Fresno. Going to be a good season in the MWC.

 

Alex Kirk is one impressive ballplayer.

 

Gotta beware of those gingers. He's got a solid all-around game. Is force inside and can step out and hit the 3. UNM will be a tough out in March.

 

Was shocked to see MWC is second-best conference in RPI. They've earned it and logically it makes sense, but the ole brain still isn't hard wired to think that way. Wonder if it "magically" becomes a 3-bid league in March.
