I think it's adorable that you think anyone in Indiana cares about Notre Dame basketball.

Hopefully you are getting the PM "attaboys" from your fellow Alabama fan bois that you are so desperately fishing for.

I think it would take quite a bit for them to fall out at this point. Like they lose their last four and then go out to a GW/Dayton-type team on the first day of the A-10 tourney. Or possibly if they only beat Richmond at home. They have Memphis (n), Belmont (h), UMass (h), Alabama (h), Lehigh (h) and Charlotte (a) as good wins. The only "bad" loss, such as it is, was the OT loss at Richmond, which is a rival and generally does well at home. All other losses are to likely or lock NCAA teams. And St. Louis at home is unbeatable ... unless you're fucking Rhode Island for some stupid reason. They're not a mortal lock, but unless they completely unravel, I don't see them missing the tournament.

As for who gets in: Butler, St. Louis, VCU, LaSalle and probably Temple because they still have that Syracuse @MSG win in their pocket. I don't see Charlotte staying in the picture, Butler road win notwithstanding. St. Joe's is out. UMass is probably out. And of course, some asshole team from the 10-12 seeds could win Brooklyn.

VCU needs to win at least five more games to be a lock. Four wins and they should be OK.

Been looking at those dumb "WE'RE BACK!" t-shirts for a year now.

After last night, they are validated.

No, I'm content to laugh and salute him here for a job well done. [/missed tackle on Eddie Lacy]

Meanwhile, SEC basketball is just as horrible in person.

Gamecocks 63, Rebels 62. I hope Dave Odum was in town to present Andy Kennedy with his life membership in the NIT.

My sister-in-law is a huge Ole Miss fan, bordering on insufferable. A few weeks ago, she was crowing on Facebook about some big basketball win, back when the Confederates were riding high, and she got real butthurt when I told her that Andy Kennedy would blow this, that I'd seen him do it too many times before. Nice to know I still gots it.
