You knew OSU was doomed with that last play in regulation, the one that never works with a guy standing 40 feet from the hoop, dribbling the ball and wasting time just so you can get the last shot.

That was so awesome when you and Versatile beat Notre Dame in the BCS title game.

    Oh now you've done it.

Breathlessly awaiting the insulting Mad Libs reply. I expect this one to include a denial he even cares about ND, a Civil War joke, a link to an essay from The Atlantic and a withering deconstruction of the UPI poll.

Are there any more insufferable pricks on planet Earth than Steve Wojochiehowskiskwiohowhskiwoho and Chris Collins? Apparently, they have both gone to the Coach K school of berading officials......I don't mind head coaches getting snarky, but when it's an assistant......You have 2 jobs to do....sit down and SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Well, there's the thundering hypocrisy of Coach K himself, who continues to go on the radio and lie about the famous ACC tournament rout that set his career in motion. 30 years later, he still whines about how Terry Holland ran up the score on him in a game when Ralph Sampson played 14 minutes. Then he goes out and gives Mason Plumlee 36 minutes in a 32-point win.

Don't worry. Dick Whitman's feelings are fine because he has no loyalty to Notre Dame. He is merely an interested outside observer. It's simply his logical thought that brings him to complaining about Alabama's 1973 title incessantly while ignoring the 1941 title. And Notre Dame us logically the only college he ever brings up in these threads because Notre Dame is logically more important. If he were a fan, he might take dixiehack and my comments the wrong way. But he is a man of unabashed intellecual objectivity, with logically no time for fandom.

By all means, continue this pointless argument over laundry worn by players and coaches who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

I know I'll get slapped down but I'll say it anyway...

Iowa is up 15 on Nebraska in the second half. If they hang on, they're 7-7 in the Big Ten (even with Illinois and ahead of Minnesota) with Illinois/Nebraska/Purdue at home and Indiana on the road left.

    Just sayin'.
