Times are bad when Baylor has the sane uniforms.

Wednesday night Pac-12 hoops, an invention for the Pac-12 network, has been a spectacular failure, with arenas averaging about 50 percent capacity. Pac-10 played on Thursday-Saturday/Sunday for decades, and fans are not accepting the change.

Supposedly big movement in the C7 today; Butler and Xavier in for next year, with Dayton, SLU and Creighton to follow in 14.

The newcomers as a group are actually stronger than the current C7, with the exceptionn of Georgetown and probably Villanova.

NCSU is adidas, too. Please don't mess with the Wolfpack's unis ... the black ones and the solid reds in addition to the normal home and away uniforms are enough. And, thankfully, none are quite as bad as the above (though here's to betting the traditionalists are still cursing the black uniforms).

I was hoping Kansas wouldn't wear these, but it sounds like it will for the Big 12 tournament. Here's hoping they win out and get the No. 1 seed, because I'm told the white one's aren't as bad.

And for all the people that say "oh, but the kids love them and they help with recruiting" the reviews from KU players in interviews and on Twitter are not good.

An international agreement to nationalize the athletic shoe/sporting goods industry and put its leading executives to death would be of enormous benefit to mankind, as these uniforms show.

Looks like the first part is about to come true.

Duke should not be a No. 1 seed. They've been dicey all season. This is putrid.

Add Tony Bennett to K's shitlist. UVa was up by double figures most of the night and Joe Harris plays until he fouls out in the last minute. ;D

Zags-BYU on the Deuce. Last real stumbling block in the way of No. 1.

    Gonzaga hangs on, 70-65.

With Duke losing, I guess Gonzaga will become No. 1 by default (assuming they beat an overmatched Portland team at home on Saturday). But living in the heart of Zag-ville, I don't think anybody but the most insane die-hards thinks the Bulldogs are the nation's best team. Frankly, I don't even think they're a No. 1 seed.

Maybe that's why Mark Few stays here -- besides his love of fishing and the great outdoors. No. 1 ranking or not, if this team gets to the Final Four, the vast majority of fans will be absolutely thrilled.

Despite the shared love of firearms, Spokane is not Kentucky ... :)

UVa was THIS CLOSE to completely shitting that one away. Considering I was filing two deadline gamers, I was considering storming the floor to strangle fucking Jesperson for trying that showboat dunk bullshit when he needed to be running time off the clock.

Joe Harris, by the way, is a mighty fine basketball player.
