When your court is named after that guy and you hang banners for NCAA appearances, you don't get to claim Kansas as a rival. I know it goes back to burning each other's towns in the 1850s or some such, but there is simply no contest. At least Purdue has more Big Ten titles that Indiana. North Carolina and Duke jockey for the conference and the Final Four with regularity.

Missouri basketball looks at KU and says "We're RIVALS!!!" and Kansas responds, "How quaint."

Missouri is the Cubs to KU's Cardinals.

Shane Ryan wouldn't like court storming if it resulted in him getting launched from a great f$%#ing height.

Someone is going to get killed at one of these court stormings. Maybe multiple people.

And then everyone is going to scream, "Why haven't we done something about this!"

Pippen played college ball at Central Arkansas, not Arkansas.

    Are you sure?

I feel like I remember him contributing to that Arkansas team.

For definite. When he went into the NBA, casual fans were somewhat amazed that he came from such a no-name school.

Arkansas had Scotty Thurman. Maybe that's who you're thinking of.

Not only did Pippen play at Central Arkansas but he had won three NBA titles and an Olympic Gold Medal before Arkansas won the NCAA title in 1994

Yeah, Scotty Pippen still played in the era of "nutter shorts" in college, through 1987... hmmmm... 1987... another first-round upset loss by Norm Stewart (this time, Xavier).
