They had Indiana with "no bad losses" the other night, even though they've lost to, I believe, four unranked teams.

No argument there. Sweet 16 talent + CBI coaching = NIT.

They're not using subjective analysis when they say that. Quality wins and bad losses are standardized terms based on the RPI.

Assuming you're talking about Baylor, I'm not sure if that's Sweet 16-quality talent on that team or not. Coaching is maybe a little above CBI (not sure after that loss on the road the other night), but Sweet 16 talent is probably a little high for that team.

Maybe, but Drew has been bringing in Top-15 recruiting classes for a few years now. Rivals had his freshman class ranked No. 6 and there are some decent veterans on this team as well. There's certainly NCAA Tournament talent there.

I'll put it this way, I'm not sure Kansas or Kansas State are that much more talented than Baylor. Drew has passed Rick Barnes as the leader of the Big 12's doing-less-with-more race.

He joins Scot Pollard as the greatest 3-point shooter in Kansas history.

I can't remember a player going from worthless to valuable than Jeff Withey. I'd argue he's the Big 12 POY and should be a serious candidate for first-team All-American.

Who says a No. 1 ranking in the AP poll isn't a big deal?

Spokane Spokesman-Review blows out Gonzaga's ranking on A1:

Pretty good way to empty the newspaper boxes on a slow news day.

  8. UTEP AD confirms Tim Floyd met with USC AD Pat Haden about returning. Yikes.

I'd say for Gonzaga it is a gigantic deal. If it isn't the biggest story in the program's history, it's got to be in the top 5.

Drew is still the conference's best cheater, though.

So he's got that going for him. Which is nice.

People throw that allegation around but you never see any proof.
