It's not just this week. It's supposedly for the duration of each team's postseason.

IU turned them down. I wish other teams had followed suit. The uniforms are an abomination.

Like I told y'all several months ago, the NCAA ought to just go ahead and engrave the men's trophy now.
It's Louisville's turn to claim another title. That's a Cadillac of a team ... outstanding talent all around.

  7. Bit of whining fom IU fans when they were told to wear Michugan shirts while in the bleachers during the game at the Crisler Center. Apparently, it's a rule to sit (actually you have to stand) in the bleachers.

"even Assembly Hall allows away fans to wear their own jerseys and we practically invented basketball."

Sigh. Have long since grown tired of the uninformed arrogance of the new breed of Indiana basketball fan.

It's snotty and best, and fight-provoking at worst to wear the opposing colors in a section that ostensibly is the most hardcore fans.

Take the free t-shirt, and move on.

Kansas only agreed to wear them once, but Self said today he'd let the players decide if they wanted to keep wearing them since they played well.

But my understanding is that the MEAC never makes any money on the conference tournament, or if they do, it isn't much. They've been damn near everywhere on the South Atlantic coast and get shit for attendance. Their final is televised on a digital-tier channel, so there isn't much money or exposure in that. And the top four seeds ALL LOST THEIR FIRST GAMES, including the two local teams, so they're looking at a pretty shitty last couple of days in terms of butts in the seats and a guaranteed trip to play-in hell in Dayton.

It seems the MEAC, more than any conference in the country (possible exception being whatever the WAC turns into) gets the least out of having a tournament.

Bill Self said a couple weeks ago, when that photo first got floated, that KU would wear those jerseys "once or twice" during the Big 12 tournament, and that the Jayhawks wouldn't wear those at all in the NCAA tournament. It might be for the duration of some teams' postseasons, but that's not the case for KU.
