Kent State is the first MAC school since Eastern Michigan and Bob Owchinko, Glenn Gulliver and Bob Welch in 1976 to make the CWS.

 

Both Pac-12 teams are in the same side of the bracket, too.

FSU-Arizona have gone extras in the Day 1 nightcap. Wouldn't really be like FSU to figure out a way to win this.
