Gotta disagree. I'm giving mad props to Jennifer Hudson. Stepped up to honor a departed artist by singing her most iconic song (which said artist did in a studio with multiple takes) and (in my opinion) covered herself in glory. Well done.
Totally agree. I know they had to do something last minute, but I thought "that was it?" How do they leave out Etta James?!
Didn't mean her performance, it was perfect. Seemed like they could have done more with it. There's certainly no shortage of Whitney video, nothing could have more impact than that.
