One thing that really impressed me about the Foo Fighters; After they were finished with their set when they played after whatever techno-krap set that was......Grohl was out there, jamming out to whatever the hell the mouse thing was...

I think Grohl could listen to any kind of music........from the rock that he plays......to country/western...........to gospel......to techno.

Some friend of my sister's was posting on her FB that Chris Brown could beat her anytime. Turns out she just broke up with her abusive boyfriend.

What a night for Adele. She won as many Grammys last night (six), as Whitney Houston won in her entire career. Unbelievable.

Anyone else find it eerie as hell that one of the guys in Grohl's band is a dead ringer for you-know-who?

  5. Who is John Galt? Who is Paul McCartney?

This was probably the first time I'd watched the Grammys in what has seemed like forever. I think the last time I watched was when Eminem performed with Elton John.

I was stunned that Chris Brown was allowed to perform. I know it was a few years ago, but that struck me as being strange.

Adele is an amazing talent. The Foo Fighters are still great. I hope Jennifer Hudson has a long and illustrious career. I see a lot of similarities between her and Houston (good and bad) but I really want her to do well.

For the love of God, none of those people must be allowed to reproduce. They must be stopped. Also, they must not be allowed near computers or smart phones ever again.

Seems to be a burgeoning Adele backlash going on.

For example, this piece calls "21" a "modest, solid album" and earlier says that her recordings have not yet caught up to "her instrument":

Chicago Tribune's Greg Kot had similar things to say the other day - he thinks that "21" has a lot of throwaway filler.

Nah, just a bunch of sportswriters music critics out of touch with what everybody listening to music is interested in. At least as far as how much the general public adores Adele.

I think it could also signal the album format's lessening relevance.

Music critics love to be contrarian. Just for the sake of it. Pisses me off.

I thought I was watching Monte Python when I heard Adele speak.
