Could be the eyes. They say once you hit 40 your vision really starts going.

Went to Phillies/Nationals tonight. Strasburg gave up two HRs for the first time, but both he and Harper have "presence." They're both very impressive.

Nice ballpark, good game, Nationals winning despite two tough calls going against them.

Only negatives: a lot of pro-Phillies cheers and I think Werth is a double-agent.

Anybody call Bobby Thigpen yet? He may still be able to move his right arm.

Seriously, they lucked out last year when Santos did a decent job at closer (most of the time). Looks like their bullpen luck is running out already in 2012.

Coming off that horrible home series with Cleveland, tonight's loss stings.

EXCELLENT interview with the Giants' Aubrey Huff regarding his recent anexity attack, and by one our own, too:

Catcher's foot was off the plate on that bases-loaded play in the eighth. Clearly off the plate.

Also interesting that they seemed to pitch around the 19-year-old a couple of times to get to the $126 million cleanup hitter.

No Morse, Zimmerman and now no LaRoche - that pitching better stay real, real strong.

Also, thanks for the call Elliotte! I debated going last night but stayed home and watched.

    So is Jason Hammel.

Orioles about to be 18-9? Knock me the fuck over with a feather. I think this may be more than a fluke.

Moddy, at worst I think I may be able to get us half off tickets for that Friday game. You, Cosmo, Sonner, and I, as well as respective significant others.
