Davis wound up 0-8 at the plate. So did Adrian Gonzalez, who Davis K'd for the first out in the 17th.

Chris Davis nearly gets the titanium sombrero, then gets Adrian Gonzalez to flail at some sort of slurvy-looking changeup thingy, then is the winning pitcher after getting McDonald to hit into a double play.

O's first sweep in Boston in 18 years.

Holy shit! Bryce Harper just stole home on a pickoff throw to first.

Fantastic baserunning by Bryce Harper, steals a cheap run.

Hamels got the first two outs, hit Harper, who then went first to third on a single. Then, when Ruiz made a pickoff attempt at first, Harper stole home to give the Nats a 1-0 lead.

That's fun to watch, right there.

I have no doubt in my mind Cole Hammels hit Harper on purpose. That's how you get him back.

Most exciting steal of home since Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez at the end of the "The Sandlot."

    (I felt movement)

Purpose pitch to hit him? If so, why?

Yeah, kid plays hard. My son is there. Told him Harper is the guy you LOVE on your team and hate on the other team.

Harper struck me as a remarkably smart player for somebody of any age.

WTF would Hamels drill Harper to begin with?

Yeah, but I wasn't clear on why. What's the kid done besides be good? I haven't seen excessive, or any, showbating. Just playing hard and enjoying himself. Kendrick admitted the pitched around him Friday to get to Werth. Avoid a 19-year-old to get to the $126 mil cleanup guy
