Dumbest baseball tweet of the year, BTW, goes to Victor Rojas yesterday. After his brilliant performance during Weaver's no-hitter, he followed up with this:

    Victor Rojas ‏ @VictorRojas29

It's official, Albert Pujols with one more HR than every 'expert' on the planet. #Angels

So what is he saying? Is this just some form of, "You never played the game."

That silence you hear are the idiots sitting back and waiting impatiently for Harper to do something that makes them all jump up at the same time, yelling "SEE!! SEE!! TOLD YOU SO!!! HE'S A DOUCHE!!!! SEE!!! SEE!!!!"

Phils-Nats just got a lot more interesting for the rest of the year.

And about $19 mil more than every other expert, and none of their names are on a lineup card in the clubhouse.

Just seems strange to me that a person paid to analyze MLB would come out strong against ... analysis?

What quirk in the schedule has the Angels playing the Twins for the third series already -- second in Minny -- while they're yet to play the Rangers or the Mariners? WTF?

Scheduled so Jered Weaver can tie Johnny Vander Meer tonight.

Haven't they been trying to backload division games for the last few years to make the races more interesting at the end? I don't think that kind of schedule split is too uncommon anymore.

The Johnny Vander Meer tie-in is a good call, though.

Same one that has the Giants making their second trip to Arizona this coming weekend, and the D'backs playing two series in San Francisco in September. But I'm betting you could find examples of that with every team's schedule.

Five games and a fine for Ham(m)els:

If that starts tonight, I'm hearing Hamels won't miss a start because of an off-day or something. Awesome.
