Check out this demonstration of Bundy's punching bag shoulder workout. The real stuff starts around 30 seconds.

It woulda been more interesting if Zimmerman's Zimmermann's beaner had nailed Hamel on the right knee, not the left calf. Hamels was fortunate in that regard.

And I thought it was a great message pitch by Zimmermann. When you throw at the knee, you mean business, and yet the announcers didn't even pick up on that.

That's actually one reason Rizzo's nonsense is actually kind of comical. Hamels popped Harper damn near on the ass. Zimmerman's intent was to injure. Unless you believe his pitch "got away" from him.

Zimmerman plays third base and is on the DL

It was a great and nasty pitch/message. I thought it would clear the benches, but no.

Are you *really* going to call me out for dropping the last letter of your starter's name?

I'm sorry. Really. I'll try to do better next time. Hope Harperr is OK.

Zimmermann had the entire offseason to fix his name anyway.

  9. Will Middlebrooks is channeling his inner Daniel Nava.

Pick him up if he's still available in your fantasy baseball leagues.

    Unless you're in a 20-team league I'd think he's available.

Agreed on the depth, expecially with Wilson on the shelf for the rest of the year. But here's the money shot, from a later version of the story:

Cough syrup? Yes, I will buy that bridge in Brooklyn ... and the Great Pumpkin's real, dammit!
