    The 1985 Cubs send their sympathies.

    Blue Jays still need a couple more starters to get hurt.

    I'm just excited that the Pirates have a player, under contract, who might be in this discussion very soon.

    The Manny Ramirez Era in Oakland ends before it begins. From SF Chron's Susan Slusser:

    I just spoke to Manny Ramirez. He's very much at peace with this decision, hopes to find another spot to play. #Athletics

    Susan Slusser
    Ramirez said he realized that the #Athletics didn't have a spot for him and weren't likely to. #Athletics
    ///

    Which is pretty funny because the A's might have to put Cespedes on the DL and really don't have another major league caliber hitter to stick in there in his place.

    Manny only hitting .302 with 14 RBIs in 17 games with Sacramento. OTOH, he does save the A's approx. $500K in salary.

    The Royals' win against Milwaukee last night was improbable. The escape they just pulled against The Best Fans in Baseball was downright retarded.

    No, we don't. That proof is as tainted as you wish his production was.

    But we all know you don't care. You've been accusing Pujols for years with no evidence at all.

    Or was there another reason Manny wanted out? SFW

    (Edit: Could also go on the "Dear Dimwit ..." thread.

    Pujols is cleaner than Ryan Braun.

    You don't know that, either.
