I'm not the one who claims to know things I can't prove. That would be you. Thank you for illustrating my point so clearly. Have a nice night.

Nelson Cruz's hamstring has a worse record than Josh Hamilton's backsliding. Look it up.

Nobody cares, but I'm watching Nats-Yankees this afternoon.

I honestly can't remember the last time I watched a non-Cubs, mid-season baseball game with no obvious reason other than to just watch some baseball.

And of course Harper, who I was excited about watching, looks completely overmatched in all three at-bats.

Don't look now, but they're within striking distance of the suddenly-floundering White Sox, whose bullpen served up some more meatballs last night in L.A.

That's why I said Desmond deserves an All-Star look. Numbers overall? Nothing special. MANY big hits.

Five K's for ol' Bryce today - a dead Trout would be better than he's been. Oh well. Mama said there'd be days like this.

    Off to the 13th inning

I brought my Cubs fan mojo onto him today. My bad.

Into the 14th and the Nats must be tired of playing. They've brought game-ender in to pitch.
