In an admittedly slim sample size, maybe 20 ab's, i hve yet to see bryce hit the ball hard. i'vv seen him take some of the worst swings ever, though, in which he's looked every bit the. well overmatched 19 year old. lotta work still to be done.

It seems like folks are forgetting one big thing: The kid is just 19 years old.

Not sure which one that is - the one in Toronto or the one in Boston. Today is the first time I thought he look overmatched, but I've been watching him for seven weeks and think he was just overanxious.

I've seen all his HRs. Five of the seven were DAMN shots. First one out to dead center at Nats Park. The ones in Boston and Toronto were pretty strong.

Yeah, he's 19 and there's some work to do. Offense and defense. But if the first seven weeks are a glimpse? Kid is pretty good.

Into the seventh - nothing going on in Atlanta.

Beachy left for Atlanta in the fourth after walking a guy. Hammel is pitching for the Orioles. Not that he's doing anything

I saw Tom Glavine start 18 games in person. He went 6-11 with a 5-plus ERA in those starts. Just sayin'.

Red Sox put Beckett on the DL today. He's No. 11 who's currently or has been on the DL this season.

    Are they done?
