42 2/3. No clue what the record is. Maybe it's still Hershiser.

    59 by Hershiser in 1988.

Zack Greinke had a streak of 43 straight in 2009.

It would be really nice if The Associated Press got some art of there of Dickey that isn't yawn-worthy.

And buck or someone ... can baseball-reference provide a list of all pitchers who have thrown consecutive one-hitters?

The Indians have scored 10 runs with Jose Lopez as their clean-up hitter. For his next miracle, Manny Acta will now take a loaf of bread and three fishes and feed all of Progressive Field.

That shouldn't be that hard to do.

I posted that on June 3. Since then they've gone 12-1, sweeping the Mets, the Braves, and the much-hyped Nationals, while also taking 2 of 3 from Tampa Bay.

I'm calling it now, Jeter will win his 6th World Series ring this October. Yogi Berra's record for most WS rings is suddenly vulnerable again :)

Just saw a report that it is a partially torn UCL.

That question Moddy asked about Dickey being the best pitcher in baseball right now? One of the guys having as good of a season just went down for a long time.
