I don't recall seeking your opinion.
    Stay on topic.

You really want to only be able to post when somebody here wants to hear what you have to say? Seriously?

If you want to talk about judging the mental state of a man based on the attractiveness of his wife, that thread fit perfectly into the topic.

Pirates remove 2007 first-round draft pick Daniel Moskos from the 40-man roster. But yeah, passing on Matt Wieters that year really didn't do any damage. Not the only one they passed on, but the one they most clearly passed on for financial reasons.

Not sure if you skipped it on purpose, or you just missed it, OOP.

Great play, no doubt. Though I will say the fact that it's only a 7-foot fence makes it look more spectacular.

Honestly, I'm bored with the discussion. We've been over this all before, but people like you just refuse to listen. WAR is not useful right now. The fact that one version of it has Lawrie as the best player in the game just highlights one of the reasons. It is too flawed to use right now if that kind of mistake can happen. The proponents of it can't even agree what formula to use. It includes attempts at rating defensive performance and I have yet to see a metric for defense that does a good job. It relies on too much subjectivity when adjusting for context. All those problems need to be fixed before we even consider using that over the metrics that need no subjective adjustments, such as OPS.

It DOES deserve to get thrown out right now. Come up with one way of doing it that actually holds up under relatively simple scrutiny and then we'll talk.

He's probably got room for Iron Man and the Hulk in there too.

Contrast that Trout catch to this one, which was on a 10-foot fence:
