... and a homer in the eighth to break a 3-3 tie. Angels continued to hit and eventually won, 10-6.
Nice way to celebrate an All-Star selection by homering the same day. Trumbo did it too, selected for the All-Star Game and homers.

Block is by IP addy only ... if you're (far enough) out of town, your home blackout won't be in effect. Whatever blackout that's in effect where you are, rather than where you live, will be in place.

As others have said, it goes by IP.

So I can watch Cubs games at home (in Missouri) but not at my parents' (right across the river in Illinois).

Nice read from Passan on the nature of recruiting players from the Dominican Republic:

Dontrelle Willis finally gave up the fight.

He did have "wow" stuff for about five weeks there, didn't he?

Also, a few words from Dejan Kovacevic, who reported the hell out of the Sano situation back when it was unfolding ...

Saw that. Mostly because I was researching Starling Marte for fantasy baseball purposes (think McCutchen lite. Not as much power).

That said, I'm not sure it is ever news when the Pirates lose a player because they are being cheap.

I use a VPN, so no blackouts for me.
