To maintain residency status in Florida -- where the income tax is zero percent -- a person has to spend the majority of his time in Florida. Pick up stakes from February to October and you don't qualify. April to October, you make it.

If his family lives in Florida and his kids go to school there, wouldn't that be enough to qualify as "residents" for joint filing purposes?

You know what, reading this again, I misread it and thought he was asking to stay in Florida for spring training. My bad.

I don't know why in the fuck anyone would want to be in Arizona for any reason.

I myself was confused as to what whom you were talking about. No worries.

The Pirates have a deal in place with Houston to get Wandy Rodriguez.

Still strange to see the Pirates as buyers in the market instead of sellers

Not bad news considering the Cubs are owning them in the last two games.

I still would like to see another bat, but not at a high prospect price. I would do Marte for Upton, though.

    Friend's Facebook status reads:

Astros trade Wandy Rodriguez to Pirates. Paterno family releases statement complaining that no one consulted them first."

Good thing they never put up that statue of Wandy.

Unfortunately for the Pirates, the Diamondbacks aren't that foolish. I doubt they are getting Upton without giving up one of those top two pitching prospects.

Holy crap. I've seen some awful things in my time, but this Brewers bullpen is pretty high on the list.

Hey, they got Wandy for a song by the band Grossman, Cain and Owens.
