Tampa Bay just traded for Ryan Roberts.

I thought there was something a little fishy about Arizona designating a 19-homer guy for assignment earlier in the day.

 

It's been rumored for a few days now that they were looking to get rid of him. Apparently Gibson can't stand him.

 

A-Rod out 6-8 weeks with a broken hand. Was hit by Felix Hernandez, who hit three batters in the game.

 

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Marlins just traded Hanley Ramirez to the Dodgers.

 

Also hit Jetes and Ichiro.

 

They were three of the final five he faced.

 

Didn't the Marlins forget -- they're supposed to win the Series, THEN have the firesale.

 

Had the game on in the newsroom. When they showed the replay, the way the ball ricocheted away and the sound it made seemed like it was off the bat. But it clearly hit the back of his left hand. Ouch.
