Reyes ended his bid for a no-hitter.

Rajai Davis had one of the best catches of the year. Stole a home run from Casey McGehee. It was a thing of beauty.

I wanted to post and give a snarky comment about how Trout has made at least three just as good if not better, but, yeah, that was an incredible catch by Davis. The degree of difficulty is quite high with the height of the fence.

Rangers win. Angels lose. A's lose.

Today it was a good day.

    Angels had a 20-minute closed-door meeting after today's loss.

They're now closer to the Mariners than the Rangers in the standings.

NLCS preview coming up this week when Nationals visit Giants. Should be a good one. Wednesday is Strasburg vs. Lincecum, two pitchers who couldn't care less if they pitch in the playoffs :)

Here comes the phantom injury.....Strasburg to miss a few starts?

    Any truth to this?

I've mentioned here before that I gave my son my old Strat-O-Matic cards, which he has since divided into various leagues & teams etc. He is now in the living room, playing a game off the wall and I hear him say "Today's starters - Pete Falcone vs. Andy McGaffigan."

Well, if the Nats keep scoring 14 runs a game, they won't need Strasburg. Even John Lannan can't blow a 14-run lead.

If the Angels miss the playoffs, is Mike Trout not a Winner?

Doesn't play the game the right way.
