Am I fantasizing when I think of Tito in a Halos uniform, and Scioscia ensconced at a buffet somewhere?

I have always gotten the impression that not only does Arte Moreno not think there's a problem, but he personally likes Scioscia very much and isn't likely to judge him harshly unless the wheels totally come off. And with the cash he spends and the Trout/Trumbo duo set for the next five years at least, the wheels aren't going to totally come off.

Maybe I'm just misreading it. I've also heard about the new GM having more power.

I hate when celebrities talk politics, but I always get a kick out of politicians and/or political commentators talking baseball:

    Charles Krauthammer ‏@krauthammer

The Strasburg solution: He pitches 5 innings only; Lannan the next 4. Makes every single reg season start, yet <180 IP. Bullpen rested. QED.

Az will appreciate his use of QED.

Weird situation going on with the Rangers. Ryan Dempster, who was scheduled to pitch today, didn't make the trip to Toronto.

The first reports said he lost his passport. Then the Rangers said it was for "personal reasons," rumored to be marital problems.

    So Roy Oswalt will start.

    For the love of f***

Angels lead 8-0 on the night they honor the 2002 World Series team. Trout 3-for-3 with a home run to lead off the bottom of the first. Then Wilson gives up a seven-spot and he can't get out of the fifth.

    Toast.

Like a new manager is going to make a difference with these Astros? Or inspire then to greatness as they enter the American League?

Brad Mills was dealt a bad hand in Houston.

Sure was. How can he help it if he doesn't have good players?
