Poor Mike Trout, too. Guy's down to .318 with a .576 slugging percentage this month. Had to know the fall would come, right?

Well, he was batting around .360 so falling to .318 is a pretty steep drop.

You don't have to sell me. I blame Sports Illustrated.

Don't get me wrong, I think Trout's having a great season and if we look only at 2012 he might be deserving of the MVP. There have also been many players that have put up big numbers in their first full season only to never come close to matching them again. Example: Shane Spencer.

Hey, I don't know who you're backpedaling for. Trout's done. He should hang 'em up.

Trout is hitting .341 after an 0 for 5 against Detroit on Friday. Two of his groundouts he nearly beat out. His final at-bat was a line shot to right that was caught.
This came after the fading youngster went 3 for 6 on Thursday in Boston.

Why the hell would we look at anything but 2012 stats to award the 2012 MVP?

Good gawd, no shit. And a team-wide letdown after that marathon on Thursday, then traveling to Detroit was to be expected. But Greinke finally nutted up and pitched a hell of a game.

And his at-bat in the ninth set up the win Thursday.

Yeah, send him back to Salt Lake. Or San Berdoo. He sucks.

He's going to go minus-3 for 4 tomorrow.

Haven't you been paying attention to life in the Mankyverse? That is also his argument for 2009. Joe Mauer should never have beaten out Jeter for MVP because he hasn't had the career Jeter has had.

Manky is trolling. He's not even trying to make sense.

Adrian Beltre hit for the cycle tonight with me in the yard. Pretty kickass.

How on earth do all those guys clear waivers for the Dodgers-Red Sox deal to go down?
