    I finally got around to reading the article in the first link. Apparently, Manky only read the headline. Otherwise he would have realized that the columnist emphatically argues against Derek Jeter winning the MVP Award this season, saying that he isn't even the most valuable middle infielder on his own team, which is an excellent point.
